In this privileged position next to the Chateau the owners welcome a tasting in their small cave with its simple charm and which leads to a marvellous13th century roman chapel.
The Domaine produces AOC Corbieres wine
The soil: red sandstone, chalky clay.
Varieties
Red: Carignan, Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mouvedre
White: Bourboulenc, Maccabeu .muscat
Vinification:
Red: only the grape is used in the maceration
Rose: made from the juice extracted before fermentation, temp. control
White: immediate pressing, temp. control
Characteristics
Red : robe dark red, almond aroma, subtle and easy to drink
Rose: fruity
White: dry
Maturing
The red wine will improve with age: 5 to 8 years, while the white and rose should be drunk young.
